Emotional Intelligence: Aligning Skill, Behaviour and Emotion
Using Mental and Verbal Agility to Manage Yourself and Others
How well do you know yourself?
How well do you manage your emotions?
Do you possess the mental and verbal agility to influence those around you?
Having these skills are crucial in life and because of the environment we are now in, we fundamentally believe that we have the responsibility to produce an EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE course with the right focus. This means truly addressing the challenges that exist in the workplace in a way that will create IMPACT.
This means developing people, inspiring change and transforming work environments where processes are clearer, communication is more respectful and people are more human.
Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we:
● Perceive and express ourselves
● Develop and maintain relationships
● Cope with challenges
● Use emotional information to be effective
EI is an assessment of your ability to think and reason. EI is broken into four (4) distinct Composite Scales which are: Self Awareness, Self Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management.
THIS IS HOW THEY CONNECT:
A better understanding of yourself is connected to expressing yourself more effectively, which creates more opportunities for stronger relationships with others. Having high self-awareness and strong relationships supports better decision making. Understanding the role of your emotions in Decision Making can help you to manage stress better, creating the potential for better understanding your emotional operating system.
● Each EQ competency relies on and influences the others
● Each EQ competency works together to create more effective emotional
intelligence – none is more important than the other

The following outline is a highly interactive 2-day session that leverages the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 assessments to provide participants with data-driven insights. Through personalized debriefing and coaching, individuals will learn to enhance their Self-Perception and Stress Management skills, enabling them to better manage themselves. The program will then focus on the Interpersonal and Self-Expression composite scales to improve their influence and leadership effectiveness. Follow-up sessions will support the application of these skills, linking emotional intelligence development directly to actual performance outcomes.
