IN COMPANY PROGRAMS
Q: What are the developmental programs you offer?
A: All programs can be found at http://www.v-formation.net/workshops/
There are also affiliate programs that support the training programs. For more on this, please click http://www.v-formation.net/workshops/affiliate-training-programs/
Q: What is the duration of the courses?
A: The courses range from 1 day to 4 days depending on the topic and level of customization.
Q:What is the maximum number of participants for the training courses?
A: The maximum number of participants can range from 18 for Power Presenting to 25 for Sales Training. It really depends on the program. This is to ensure successful facilitation of role plays and eventual learning.
Q: What is the nature of the training programs?
A: The workshops will utilize a comprehensive set of techniques that emphasize participation and interactive learning in an environment to develop you personally and professionally. These techniques will involve:
- Lectures
- Videos
- Experiential Exercises
- Individual and group activities
- Manuals and hand-outs
- Discussions and sharing of experiences
Q: Will training manuals be provided?
A: Manuals will be provided for all training courses. A soft copy can also be available if requested.
Q: How much does a training program cost?
A: The cost will be a daily cost for all In-Company sessions. For more information, please contact facilitator at tonyr0909@gmail.com
Q: Can training really address employee behaviour?
A: This really depends on what is causing the behaviour. If the behaviour is because of a lack of a particular skill, then training to address the skill will help. However, if the behaviour is due to low morale, motivation or having to deal with “difficult people,” then the solution to the problem will require more intervention. For example, a 1-day team building session will not work for these issues. We will therefore have to look at what factor in the organizational environment is causing the problem and start making changes there.
Q: What are the most critical competence related challenges facing organizations today?
A: One of the biggest challenges is the way leaders use the Performance Management System. Examples are: The hiring process, the Performance Assessment document and the level of development by coaching, feedback and eventual training that supports it. This creates an issue with overall relationships between leaders and their direct reports, which, in turn, affects morale, motivation and eventual performance.
Q: What is the client’s responsibility?
A: The clients responsibility is to provide the venue, projector, flip chart, meals and coffee breaks for all training days.
Q: Do I get a certificate after participation in the training?
A: Certificates will be distributed to participants on last day of the training. Participants who receive a certificate would have completed at least 75% of the program.
Q: Do you offer a Training Needs Assessment?
A: Yes, this will be either a face to face meeting or phone conversation so that we can customize the program to your needs.
Q: Are there any follow-ups after training?
A: Yes, there is a free follow-up after 6 weeks to determine progress and any additional needs.
Q: Do you have any Public Programs?
A: We are in the process of planning for those. If you are interested, you can email your contact information and the program you are interested in to tonyr@v-formation.net and we will inform you of the date, cost and venue.
